The Great Salad ( Of "Irrational" Behaviors, Problems etc. ) / Blind Men Describing An Elephant - But No Single Complete Example ( Of Presentation By "Experts" On "Hoarding" )

Experts presenting a mishmash of - irrational behaviors ( RMPs ), dysfunction in possessions, motivations, problems, etc. - but never a full case study of an example that is complete, quantified, timelined, situationalized etc. ( anonymized though it would be )

Instead, a flurry of Magician Tricks, MFSDC, etc. and - look - clearly a mental illness !

It's like the parable of a group of blind men describing an elephant..

That's what I would like to see - a sufficiently complete example, from the standpoing of The Questions ( what is the overall situation ? what are the factors ? etc. ) - and yet it is not there, it is nowhere to be found.

Could it be.. that a complete example would invite too many Inconvenient Questions - look at all the factors and possible alternative mitigation measures the "experts" missed in their haste to declare "mental illness" ?

Even when a case example is apparently complete, it is not complete - e.g. Daniel from the book Stuff - even though we are seeing the broad strokes, we don't see a detailed zoom into the details, we don't see any balanced analysis, nor impartial non-judgemental engagement to resolve this - only shocking details and measures to compel..
