These are the books I'm planning to publish. Work in progress - the material is actively evolving, and it will continue evolving even after the publication - these will be "living" books, updated with emerging experience. There is already an abundance of insight and everything points to the theory being valid, yet more game-changing insight keeps emerging regularly. Stay tuned.
What if.. you're not as crazy as they say, for keeping whatever it is that you keep ? What if.. the concept of "Hoarding Disorder" is flawed from the very roots ? What if.. the theory around it is not quite as well reasoned, as helpful or even as harmless as the experts say ? What if.. there are better explanations, better models, better questions and better solutions possible ? Read along, find out. I review the books / theories on "Hoarding" from cover to cover, and take a look at the magician behind the curtain. Then, I suggest that there might be another door, and even a key, so we don't need to smash through.
Does it feel like everything is going downhill ? Like there's something bigger going on, but you don't know where to look ? Bad news: You may be right, and it may even be worse than you know.. or not. Good news: For a start, it's less crazy-making once you know what's going on, once the traps are revealed and given names. Let's turn on a bright light, and take a proper look at the monster, and at all the little mosterlings. And once you know the problems, and the whole situation, you are in a better position to look for solutions, some of which I will suggest. Some things can be avoided, others will require work. I won't lie - it may not be easy - but letting these insidious things continue may be worse. What is better - in a minefield with a map, or without one ? Of course, it's better to be out of the minefield entirely, but first things first..
