What happens when one of the spouses is always on the go, always engaged in some project, some action.. and they want the other spouse to participate, or to help them, or to mind the kids while this is being done ?
The other spouse will likely have all their time taken over by this agenda.
And then, what happens to this other spouse's discretionary activities, processing and organizing cycles ?
They get starved of time.
Backlogs and clutter begin to grow.
Failures start happening.
Discretionary projects get stalled and stagnate.
Presto manifesto, Dysfunction in Possessions.
And Dysfunction in Possession grows, dysfunction breeding more dysfunction, requiring larger and larger effort to catch up, impeding regular activities - exactly like balance and interest on a credit card.
Before you know it, hello disaster.
And meanwhile, the "locomotive" spouse not only doesn't let up, they increase their desire to get more done with less time.
And now, the need to do something about the mess gets added to the agenda, and very likely conflict.
Does this sound familiar ?
