Materially Creative Persons - Artists, Tinkerers - Might Need Creative And Sprawling Possessions

For example, I'm a "techically creative person", a tinkerer - so I have, among other things, many possessions for use as tools or materials.

Artists will likely have a messy set of possessions in their studio, too.

Can you imagine an artist that is neat and tidy, that has one easel and a set of brushes, that folds away neatly into one closet, and that's it ? There will be a few, I imagine, but this probably would be far from typical, no ? More typically, they're likely to have multiple easels, collections of accessories, works in progress, and they need at the very least a suitable studio, and that's not including the living arrangements ( which might or might not be the same studio ). Try to judge them by the same standard of neatness, will you ?

I can't imagine myself living out of a single closet, like a minimalist city dweller whose only interest is eating, sleeping and working the day job. That's just never ever happening, if I have any say in it.

So let's look at it from this other direction - if it is typical of artists and tinkerers to have a sprawling set of possessions, and, even according to the "experts" on "hoarding", many individuals concerned are of the creative, artistic, intuitive, perceptive type.. hmm.. is it, perhaps.. largely natural, perhaps on the outer side of "exactly as expected" ?
