Every time I encounter confusion / difficulty / reluctance to do something - I "stop and think", and ask this -
What Is The Sticking Point ( WISP ) here ?
"Experts" claim that "confusion" is an inherent trait of "hoarders", or an inevitability when confronting "piles", i.e. the Dysfunction in Possessions.
Yet, it's an invitation to do the thinking - what is causing the confusion - and how to neutralize that.
Too many tasks ? Use a TODO list, write them out, do them one by one, in whatever order makes sense.
Not enough space to move around / to reorganize / to access ? Get more space !
Not enough empty containers ? Get more containers !
Feel compelled to discard prematurely ? Realize that this will be a slow, painful, inefficient and insufficiet method, and do one of the other things.
Workspace being in a disarray discouraging completion of projects ? Fix that.
Generally, whatever it is - there is a reason, or reasons, why you are discouraged from proceeding - find those reasons, make them explicit, and deal with them.
That's what I would do.
